Neighbours with a Difference is an intermediate level course that takes students through all nine units of Dr. Webster's Blended Structure and Style method of teaching writing. It applies those methods to subject areas commonly found in Grades 6-9 Canadian Social Studies. These include Canadian government, democracy, multi-culturalism, bi-lingualism and differences between Canada's form of government and that of our neighbours to the south. Students will integrate all the structural models and stylistic techniques necessary to build an essay and ultimately build a compare and contrast super-essay.
